A Love Values Day

You will need

Speak to the teachers to plan activities for their classes around the value of love, prepare 100 hearts with quotes and questions relating to love, prepare a worship session on the value of love, camera and reflection activity.
 
First you need to discuss with the teachers the day and ask them to plan different activities on the value of love. Then prepare as many hearts as you can with different quotes and questions relating to the value of love. We were grateful to our volunteers from church who helped us prepare them. We placed them all around school the night before along with many heart mobiles and pick and red balloons. All the children and teachers need to come to school in red or pink clothes. Ethos group planned and delivered worship to start the day looking at the value of love and he story of St Valentine. We left a number of reflection questions in all reflection spaces. Ethos group took photos all through the day as a record of all the different activities. A whole school values day helps us to carry on being a big family.
