Easter Garden

You will need

A selection of natural materials, moss, stones, rocks, soils, bark, large try container to build the garden in, and an ice cream container for the tomb.
 
Session 1
Go for a walk around your school ground and collect a range of natural materials, stones, rocks, wood etc.
Read the Easter story
 
Session 2
Build an Easter garden to represent the main events of Easter. Display the Easter garden with questions and a box for people to put responses in. We placed our Easter garden on the playground and invited parents to come and see it and respond to the questions. We asked other classes to visit and make responses. We left a small basket of stones so others could add to the garden.
