Ethos Super Learning Days

The super learning day takes the whole school off timetable and allows children to explore all the core school values. Ethos leaders with 2/3 younger ethos members wrote a lesson plan to deliver an activity relating to one of our core values. The ethos children who are leading the lesson set up in a classroom and all the classes rotated around throughout the day accessing a number of different activities. The teachers were present in the classes but were only there to support the ethos children. As part of each lesson we used the activity to assess where children could see our values in action. After the super learning day we analysed our findings and then planned activities and worship sessions to address those areas that we felt were not represented as much as others.
