History Collage

You will need

A selection of history books or access to the internet, glue, scissors, large piece of paper, pens and pencils.
 
First decide on the value you wish to research. Once you have decided look through history books or search on the internet historical figures that demonstrate that value. Research why those historical figures demonstrated the value and write down the reasons or actions that show how they lived out the value. Print out or draw the historical figures and arrange them on the large sheet of paper. Put the written examples of them living the value next to the picture. Collect as many historical or present day people as you can and add them to the collage. Leave your collage in a reflection space and ask children and adults to add to your collage.
 
This could then lead into developing a worship session looking at how people from history, the bible and present day build and live out our Christian values.
