Learning Walk
To deepen our understanding of our school and what we value as important.
Camera, note book, coloured pens, art materials to decorate your finished book and some form of evidence book.
To carry out a general learning walk
Fist you need to walk round your school with a camera, a notebook and some friends. It is very important that you do this without a teacher or adult so you can decide what is important. When we found something we though was important to us we photographed it and wrote notes for example, the candle in worship and the banners that we made. Once we had all the pictures and notes we made an evidence book and discussed it with Mrs Pilling our Headteacher who could see what we thought was important to us. Mrs Pilling could then think about what we found and make any changes to school with our help. Mrs Pilling found out a great deal about school through what we decide was important to us.
