Values Tags

You will need

Empty boxes or cardboard treasure chests, a tag for each value, ribbon, a selection of art and craft materials, coloured pens and pencils.
 
First you will need to decorate your box or treasure chest that will keep your values tags safe. Next make a tag for each value you would like to use in your box. Put the tag on some ribbon and decorate your tag. Now you are ready to use your tags to further explore the values you have chosen. With a group of children ask them to choose a values tag. Then discuss why they have chosen that tag. Why is that value so important to them? Can they tell you examples of how they use that value in their lives? Ask them to make a response on the other side of the tag and place it back in the box/ treasure chest.
