Values Tree

You will need

A small tree (could be an artificial one or a branch that has fallen from a tree), Leaf shapes for people to write their responses on, paper clips, string, pens and pencils.
 
Set the tree up in a class reflection space or in a central place in your school. In a basket put the leaf shapes (with string already attached) and the pencils. Make a sign to ask children, parents, teachers, governors and visitors to choose a value and write down why that particular value is so important to them and then using a paper clip hang it on the tree for others to read. You could use this idea to develop a prayer tree also.
