Umbrella Prayer Space

We introduced prayer spaces to create a prayer space to provide a safe, stimulating, reflective space for children and adults to explore their spirituality through prayer, quiet time and through craft. Our prayer spaces take a theme, such as our umbrella prayer space. The umbrella prayer space enables anyone to explore and talk to God. Umbrella's protect us from the wind and rain, just as God protects us. We also use our umbrella prayer space at during Remembrance to give thanks for all service men and women that protect us. 

We plan a prayer space that is at first launched in church at our family service and then 'pops up' around school. We talk about the theme as part of the family service and invite the congregation to have their tea and coffee in the prayer space and we support them with their prayers or just a dedicated time to talk with our friends.
