Prayer Glasses

You will need

Card glasses templates or old pairs of glasses/sun glasses/ 3D glasses, selection of craft embellishments. glue gun, scissors, paper and felt tip pens.
Activity – In this activity we are looking into the future and focusing on how God can help us with our aspirations. Take a pair of glasses and stick some paper onto the lenses. On the paper draw or write what you see when you look into your future, and focus on your aspirations for the future and in your career. Use the art and craft embellishments to decorate your prayer glasses, think how these embellishments will support you in your prayers. When you have completed your prayer glasses, sit by yourself or with a group of friends. Put your glasses on and talk to God, through prayer, about the aspirations you have added to your prayer glasses. What do you need to ask God now, that will impact on your future and your aspirations?
