Prayer Painting

You will need

Large rolls or sheets of paper, felt tips, paint, paint brushes, glue, variety of collage materials, selotape and masking tape.

This activity we designed to allow children to express themselves while praying Cover a large space with paper (we used one of our hall floors), secure the edges with masking tape. We printed some prompts and placed them randomly on the paper. Paint whatever you enjoy and you want to give thanks for, paint someone you want to pray for and ask God to support them. Paint words or values that you can talk to God about while you are painting. This can be a messy activity so make sure you wear old clothes. Some children made handprints to show how God has made us unique.
