Prayer Weaving

You will need

Selection of different coloured and textured yarn, weaving boards or looms, weaving needles, scissors and a selection of art and craft embellishments.

Weaving can be carried out on boards, and held on looms and much larger looms. While you are weaving, relax and take the time to talk to God. Make a small woven square and decorate it. Use it to focus your prayers, feel the different textures and look at the things you have attached. Your mini woven prayer square can fit in your prayer box (activity 73) or in your pocket or bag, to use at any time of the day.
