Spinning Prayers

You will need

Card circles, string, scissors, selection of felt tip pens and pencils.
 
This prayer activity celebrates the fun we have in our lives. First, cut out a circle from card. Then on one side, draw any pattern you like, and on the other side write a prayer. We wrote prayers thanking God for all the fun we have at school and at home. We also wrote prayers asking God to help those children in the world who do not have much fun in their lives. Once you have coloured your circle and written your prayer, make 2 small holes in the centre of the circle. Thread some string or yarn through the holes. Wind the card circle up and then pull tightly. The pattern you made will create a different effect as the card circle spins.
