Chocolate Spoons

You will need

Cooking chocolate, sprinkles, ribbon, wooden disposable spoons, silicone ice cube tray, bowl, baking tray, spoons for mixing the chocolate and presentation bags.
 
Making chocolate spoons is an activity we really enjoyed! We made them to sell in support of our school ethos activities but you could sell them to support a charity of your choice. First of all melt the chocolate over boiled water or in the microwave (please ask an adult to help you). Take the wooden spoons and dip them into the chocolate, just enough to fill the spoon and place it on the baking tray.  Repeat with the remainder and decorate the spoons with sprinkles of your choice. We also filled ice cube trays with chocolate and placed a wooden spoon in before the chocolate set. These can be used to make hot chocolate when added to hot milk. When set, we put the spoons into presentation bags and tied them with ribbon and sold them at playtime in school.
