Giving Thanks for Nature

You will need

Old newspaper or newsprint used in schools, warm water and packets of wild seeds.
 
Making seed bombs is easy and very worthwhile. First of all tear the newspaper into small pieces and add just enough warm water to make the newspaper into a thin paste. Now add the wild plant seeds and mix into the paste. Take a small amount of the paste and roll it into a ball and repeat until all the paste is used. Allow the seed balls to dry. The seed bombs are now ready for use. You can bag them up and sell them for charity. We decided to go outside and scatter them in our school grounds. The wild plants that grow will also provide food and shelter for the minibeasts and birds living in our school grounds.
