God is Love Mobile

You will need

Paper (different colours), felt tip pens, pencils, scissors, ribbon, selotape, variety of art & craft materials, glitter, laminating pouches and laminator.
 
Firstly draw and cut out a large cloud shape and write on it this bible quote “God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God him in.” 1 John 4:16. Decorate the cloud with hearts, glitter and any other art & craft materials you wish. Now make several smaller hearts from the coloured paper. On each heart write the name of someone God loves. Everyone in your group will write names on hearts. Selotape lengths of ribbon onto the back of the cloud and attach the hearts at intervals all the way down the ribbon. It will become apparent that there are lots and lots of hearts on the ribbons. Once the God is Love mobile is complete discuss who is on the mobile. Is there anyone else we could add?  Discuss the fact that God loves us all no matter what and we should love Him and others.
