Plant a Gift

You will need

Small gifts, small gift boxes, wrapping paper, dowel sticks, scissors, variety of craft materials, bows, crepe paper, plant pots, something to hold the sticks such as stones, soil or dough and thank you tags.
 
We decided to plant gifts for the adults in school to say thank you for all their hard work. Firstly decorate several plant pots and fill them with either stones, soil or playdough. Now cover the dowel sticks with green crepe paper to represent the flower stems. Put the small gifts you have collected on to each of the gift boxes and wrap them in wrapping paper and attach a bow. Attach the gift box to the sticks through a small whole in the bottom of the gift box. The gift box represents the flower. Write a thank you tag and attach it to a gift box. Your thank you gifts are now ready to be picked. Invite adults to come and choose a gift ‘flower’ to pick. Explain to them that it is to say thank you for all that they do.
