Prayer Net

You will need

Fishing net, template of fish and seaweed (you can use your own or see the resource CD), felt tip pens, pencils, pencil crayons, sequins, glitter and scissors.

Display the fishing net either on a wall or hanging from the ceiling. Use the fish template to write your prayer on. Your prayer may be giving thanks for something or you may feel you want to say you are sorry for something or you may want to pray for others or you yourself. Once you have written your prayer on the fish template or seaweed template decorate it and cut it out. Attach your prayer to the net. God catches all our prayers just as a net catches fish. Do take time to read other people’s prayers too.
