Wax Crayons
To symbolize how we can work together as a whole.
Silicone moulds, cookie cutters, glitter and a selection of old wax crayons.
Collect as many wax crayons as you can and make sure you remove all the paper on them. Snap the crayons into small pieces. You may want to keep colours separate at this point. Take the silicone mould and put the crayon pieces in them, about half full. You can have lots of fun deciding which colours you are going to use/mix. An adult will than need to put the moulds onto a baking tray and put them in the oven at 200 degrees for approx. 10 mins (keep checking to see if the crayons have melted). Remove the mould from the oven and leave to cool. Once the wax has set push the crayon shapes out of the silicone mould. You have amazingly coloured crayons! All the colours are woven together and work together to make a new object.
You could make these crayons to sell to fund raise for a charity you may be supporting.
