* This week we are looking at COP 26 and climate change.
* Watch the video on the blog. St James - children have produced a fantastic video this for this week, looking at the life COP 26 and the impact of climate change.
* There are lots of examples in the Bible where God shows us that we should care for all of creation.
* Why is it so important to care and respect God’s creation?
* What sort of things can you do to help climate change?
* What sort of things can your school do to help with climate change?
* What do you think Jesus would say on this subject?
* Use your window, door and mirror key rings to reflect on not giving up. How do you feel now? What have you discovered? What will you take away from this week’s Ethos to Go?

The world is God's wonderful creation, we should look after it to protect all livings things. We can take steps to help the climate emergency, for example walking to school instead of driving.

We think it is really important to look after our planet. One way we can do this is to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Be happy for what you have today, because in the future there might not be as much nature and wildlife. We could help by litter picking, reducing our meat consumption and recycle plastic bottles. Let's spend time outside!

You shouldn't throw rubbish in the streets because it could cause lots of harm, for example: going into the sewer and then onto the ocean.

We should try to not use pesticides that hurt creatures in our gardens because they are God's creatures.

Don't throw plastic in water as it could hurt the wildlife in oceans, which then hurts the beautiful world that God created.

It makes me feel terrible when trees are being cut down because we need them to breathe clean air. It is hurting God's planet and we need to protect it.

We should try not to use too much plastic, like plastic bags that we cannot reuse. Instead we should use reusable packed lunches.

As a school, we need to recycle more and use less packaging because it is destroying our planet. We can use more recyclable products and reuseable packaging.

We enjoyed learning about recycling and what materials can be recycled. We talked about how we do this at school and home. We discussed why it was important.

We need to look after our world and we need to put our rubbish in the correct bins so that it can be recycled. We want our world to be safe, healthy and we want clean air.

We need to look after our planet to keep it healthy. We can recycle our rubbish and turn off lights when we are not in a room to help our planet.

We could reduce the amount of trees cut down as they remove at least 1 metric ton of CO2 in their lifetime. As a school, we could start to recycle and become eco-friendly like using reusable pack lunches and not a plastic bag. Remember to recycle!

COP26 reminds us that we shouldn't be using too much plastic and wasting food. To tackle climate change, we can become an eco warrior. We can limit the amount we fly; we can stop buying meat from unsustainable farms; we can going fully electric.

Climate change is when human pollute Planet Earth by burning fossil fuels. We need to stop doing this as it damages the Earth ultimately beyond repair. We can help stop this by converting to renewable energy as quick as possible.

We believe it is important to care and respect God's creations because if we don't then future generations will not experience them, e.g, if deforestation continues then there may not be trees in the future and more species could become extinct

We should try not to waste electricity and remember too recycle lots of different things like plastic bottles, clothes/fabric, cardboard boxes, paper and tins and glass jars. Walk to school instead of travelling in a car to help our environment.

I can help climate change by reusing more things, turning off the lights when I leave a room and walk instead of using a car all the time. Our school can help by also turning off the lights in classrooms we aren't using and recycling our waste.

We should take care of God's creation because he will not create another one for us. We should be thankful for what he has done for us and look after it, like you would with any other gift.

We enjoyed learning about climate change and all the ways we can help. We will recycle our plastic bottles and make sure that we turn off the lights when we are not using them. We are excited to go for walks instead of using our cars too much!

We think we should help protect the environment by reusing plastics, by throwing away rubbish responsibly and we could try to eat less meat.
