Harvest 

* This week we are looking at the importance harvest.  
* Watch the video on the blog. St Maxentius children have produced a fantastic video this for this week, looking at harvest and the importance of donating food to support others.
* There are lots of examples in the Bible where God shows us that we should share and care for each other?
* Why is it important to share the harvest?
* Why is it important to have food banks and charities that help to provide families with food?
* How can you help those in your school and community when they need help and support?
* How can God help us to when we are in need? Can you find a bible passage that reinforces this?
* Use your window, door and mirror key rings to reflect on not giving up. How do you feel now? What have you discovered? What will you take away from this week’s Ethos to Go?

Harvest is important because it helps homeless people and those less fortunate to be able to eat. It also brings people together as a community. If we didn't have harvest, there may not be enough food, especially many years ago.

Thank you for the worship. We are happy to give food to those in need. Thank you to the farmers for the vegetables and fruit. Thank you to God for giving us all lots of food.

Food banks are important for us to help families by: sharing food,keeping people safe and ensuring they have food to eat when they can't afford it. We give thanks to God for providing us with food to eat.

I really liked this Ethos to go video as it was very creative and also at the end you sang a harvest song. That bring joy to all of our class as we also sing that song at our school!

We think harvest is very important because we can give to people less fortunate. It is good to donate food to help others get healthy and strong. It is good to share and be kind to others.

Harvest is important to people because lately, people need food more than ever. With prices going up, people are finding it hard to pay for basic things - so it's important for us to help. We need to give to those in need at this important time.

We've been learning about Psalm 23- The Lord is my Shepherd in RE. We believe this Psalm reflects how God loves and cares for us. He provides everything we need and it is up to us to share with others.

We discussed how we are thankful for things we have such as food readily available, house to live in, family and clothes. L4 are thankful to be able to give to others who are less fortunate than us and can't get food as easily as we can.
