International day of Peace W/C 27/09/21

International day of Peace

* This week we are looking at International Peace Day.
* Watch the video on the blog. Bishop Bridgeman Ethos children have produced a fantastic video this for this week, looking at International Peace Day.
* There are lots of examples in the Bible of peacemakers, such as Moses, Jacob and Isaac. Discuss why these people were peacemakers?
* How do you show peace in your school?
*How do we show peace across our Multi Academy Trust?
* What are some of the ways God brings us peace?
* Why does God want us to have peace in every part of our lives?
* What does “Recovering better for a sustainable and equitable world mean to you?
* Use your window, door and mirror key rings to reflect on peace. How do you feel now? What have you discovered? What will you take away from this week’s Ethos to Go?

Without peace our world wouldn't be the same . Sometime Without peace , we think that we can make a lot of noise and sometimes when you don't have peace you can't have a better future and so can others .

We show peace in our school by making sure we have a calm environment in the classrooms and around school so that we can learn. We ensure all of our friends are happy and take care of those who are not.

I love to enjoy peace in my own home so I can relax and have some time to myself to think and rest so i can feel more calm. The best way I do this is when everyone is asleep and I am in bed. Peace is very important so you can concentrate on yourself.

We resolve our disagreements by speaking nicely to each other and explaining how we feel.

We think peace can mean many things, it especially means to be caring, show love and friendship to others. We like to be peaceful by helping others to not argue and make peace when they are upset.

Two comments that stood out in assembly this morning summed up the thoughts of the Bishop Bridgeman family: "Miss, having no chaos, just a world full of peace" "Carry peace around with you every day, always"

We in M2 believe that peace is very important because if we do not have any peace, we have no time where we can rest and reflect (Abrar). Usmaan says that 'if there was no peace, the world would only be filled with badness'.
