We cope with change by not giving up as it will soon become our new normal. It is important to think about why something is changing and the positives it brings. You can also cope with change by talking about it.

Change can sometimes be hard to handle because we are used to our normal routines. Change is good as we need to change in order to learn independence and challenge our selves.

We have discussed all the different emotions that people feel about change and how we can help and support each other in our next adventure.

In year 5, we discussed the change we will go through next year. We completed mindfulness activities whilst thinking about year 6 changes. (New class, new responsibilities, new jumpers, new year!)

We have talked about the things that we could not do and have since learned to do in our time at school. We have also talked about those who have supported us when we have gone through a big change in our lives, such as moving to a new class.
