Fair Play

* This week we are looking at the importance of playing fairly, having a responsibility to act in a fair way.
* Watch the video on the blog. St James Ethos children have produced a fantastic video this for this week, looking at playing fairly and treating everyone with respect.
* There are lots of examples in the Bible where God shows us that being responsible towards others is the right thing to do. Can you discuss any?
* What qualities do you have that enable you to act in a fair way? How do you encourage others? How does God encourage us?
* Do you think it is cheating if nobody sees you break the rules?
* Why is it important to have rules?
* How do we demonstrate playing fairly in our Trust?
* How will you use your new learning to make people’s lives around you better?
* Think about the door and how you will take this with you into the community.

As a class we believe that it is very important to play fair and we know that the adults around take this as seriously as we do ad that they will ensure that everyone has the opportunity to play fair.

Being fair is like respecting everyone.Sometimes when you fair play you can be a role model and become a great friend. When you treat other people fair it can make them happy and yourself.not always a leader can show fair play you can to.

As a class, we feel it is very important to always play fair. We understand that cheating is the wrong thing to do, as even if you win in this instance, it does not feel good. We also believe that respect is important for everybody.

Yes because just if no one sees you you are still cheating .yes to get your anger out but it might not always be a good thing .you should always be fair because one day someone else will be

We learnt that treating people fairly is important. Like a normal guy treating a homeless guy the same as himself, respectfully. We can do these small actions every day (treating others in a good way). Remember, treat others the way you want!

We discussed fair play in the Euros football tournament. We talked about how some players play unfairly to get an advantage, but ultimately, it ruins the game for everyone - players and spectators alike. You will only truly win if you won fairly.

Treating other people fairly is really important. We can do this through little actions everyday by including everyone and treating people as we want to be treated.

In M3 this morning we have discussed that you need to be honest, respectful, loyal and control your emotions in order to achieve fair play. In class we are all friends, we debate our ideas and we vote on matters to ensure we encourage fair play.

We are going to be kind to others by showing respect. We will be honest and listens to others. 'Treat others as we wish to be treated'.
