 World Religion Day

* This week we are looking at World Religion Day.
* Watch the video on the blog. Bishop Bridgeman children have produced a fantastic video this for this week, looking at the importance of understanding differences and similarities of others.
* How do you treat people you don’t know?
* What does Jesus say about how we should treat other people?
* Why do you think it is so important to learn and show understanding
   of all the world religions?
* Can you think of any bible stories that give examples of
understanding others people’s religion or culture?
* What values does understanding our differences and similarities
    foster?
* Use your window, door and mirror key rings to reflect on not giving up. How do you feel now? What have you discovered? What will you take away from this week’s Ethos to Go?

We think that it is brilliant that there are so many different religions in the world. They sound just like us. If we met someone from a different religion we would be nice and kind to them and share our toys.

Class 2 St James

We are a school who accepts other religions and we enjoy learning about other religions. It is interesting to find out about others. We follow our school rule of treat others as you wish to be treated, regardless of their religion.

We discussed in class the importance of understanding other religions and other people's views because it gives us a broader understanding and acceptance of the multicultural world we live in today. World religion day helps us to do this.
